DEAR WOMEN, PLEASE DON’t KILL THAT INNOCENT CHILD

Every human being, be it a woman or a man, has a child inside the body which never grows old. In fact, I would say that we only grow old biologically, but our soul never grows, it remains a child. That is the reason why we crave love, affection and nurturing.

The child inside a woman’s body is very special because this child not only demands love but has a super power of spreading love, affection and comfort. This child is very innocent, sweet and pure. This child’s persona can melt rocks. This child can absorb pain and make it vanish. This child can put lost people on track. This child is a gift from Allah.

We men too have a child inside us, but this child is of reserved personality, this child has to live in shadows because we men can’t let him out in open. We men are taught and designed to face harshness, we men are made responsible to provide and protect our families, and the good men don’t take it as an advantage, we feel proud of it, we live for it. We have to provide no matter what, no matter how hard the situation is, no matter what we have to do, no matter what we have to face, we must overcome every obstacle and be a man.

Sometimes the cost of being a man is to sacrifice our dreams, our careers, our comfort and most importantly, our age. We get abused, we get yelled at, we get humiliated; we compromise our self-respect and all along, the child inside us is kept in dark, desperately wanting to get out but we can’t, because if we let this child out, we are considered weak, we are considered incapable, we get more humiliated, and most importantly, we are no more seen as a man. After a certain age, we can’t even get this child out in front of our own parents because then it is seen as a sign of weakness or defeat which makes them worried in an old age, so we have to stay firm and strong and keep the hopes up. We can’t let our cracks visible.

Out of everyone else, it’s our lawful women to whom we want to reveal this child. It could be our sisters or daughters but the most important woman is our wife. We just want to forget everything and everyone who caused us pain, we want to let off the fear of judgment and just tear off our masks and become a child. The child inside us is lonely, afraid, bound so when it comes out in front of your child, the magical powers of your child brightens him up. The love, affection and comfort of your child give our child more strength so when it goes back in shadows, it survives with a hope of getting out again to receive the same affection and comfort; without this hope, the child inside us fades away.

The modern world somehow made women forget about this child, they neglected it without realizing its magical powers. A true man doesn’t fall in love with your beauty; he falls in love with this child of yours and will do anything to keep you and your child safe and happy, because without both of you, his life is just hollow and miserable.

Dear Ladies, be empowered, fight injustice, progress but I request you to never kill this child; it’s like a pearl inside you. And I request men to value this child and give the same love and affection that you need from it. Never misuse or take this child for granted.
