I Need No Man

Nowadays, you must have heard this phrase quit a lot time, I believe there are two categories of women who think this way; those who have been betrayed by men and then those who are financially independent.

Now let me ask you something? Does a man needs a woman?

The truth is, we need no one in this world to stay alive, we need no one to breath, but we are on this earth not to just breathe but to LIVE. And to live, we need companions at every stage of life, be it at school, work or home; even the most self made person will have someone pushing from behind; we all need emotional and spiritual supports, and we all need physical support too. Cooking, laundry, earning, cleaning, be it a man or a woman, anyone can manage all these things alone, but, life becomes much better and organized when you have a support.

I for instance, I can cook, I wash my own clothes; I am actually staying alone away from family as a bachelor in a middle eastern country, and I am financially independent. So do I need a woman?

I believe, love prevails when you are dependent on each other; my wife can be financially independent, but she must make me realize that I am the one who has to provide her, especially at hard times; I should be the one working extra hours, not her.

It ain't about food, even if I can't cook properly, thousands of restaurants are available, but I will be grateful for her for making me food or managing my home, actually her home, a home is not a home without a woman. A man can build a house, it's a woman who makes it a home. I will happily admit that it is my wife that has made our home a paradise, I am just dumb.

But, it doesn't mean that one shouldn't be independent; it's not like that if my wife would be away for a while, I would turn my house into a trash; of course not, I will take care of the house in her absence, but then I will be happy to listen her taunts too upon returning "4 DINO MAI GHER KI KIA HAALAT KR DI HAI TAUBA".

Be enough independent so that you can manage your own affairs in the absence of your better half, but be dependent when he/she is around and make them realize and be grateful.

And it's not just about Husband wife, same goes to brothers and sisters and other relations.

So, don't say WE NEED NO MAN, in fact, say that WE NEED THE RIGHT MAN.
