Biggest Misconception about Islam

One of the biggest misconception about Islam which damaged the image of Islam in the world and also resulted in weakening people's faith is that Islam contains you in a box, Islam orders you to stay away from the society or the world, Islam isolates you; whereas the reality is complete opposite.

Islam allows you to enjoy life, Islam allows you to be social, Islam encourages to co-exist with people of different faiths. Islam encourages you to explore the world and witness the might of the Creator of The World.

Islam just draws a line, it warns you about the limits which are very important because without limits, people just walk off the right path and march towards destruction. Islamic laws may seem unimportant at the moment but these laws are not only meant for your present, they heavily influence on shaping your better future; these laws and restrictions are for your time ahead.

Take an example of a kid; if you keep laughing at a kid's misbehavior as it looks cute, it encourages the kid to misbehave more as he gets more and more laughter and appreciation. But then a time comes when the same kid grows up and now his misbehavior becomes annoying but its too late, the kid has adopted the misbehavior because of your actions.

The limits of Islam are not very narrow as the far right people represent and neither are too broad like the far left people represent. Islam is a religion of balance; Islam emphasizes on equity.

In fact, not just Islam; most of the religions have similar restrictions and the fact that people left their religions or became less practicing is that their religions were also represented in the same way as Islam; which is darkness; while the truth is that religions are meant to enlighten your body and soul and give you clear instructions on how to live your life joyfully.

Now when people stopped taking guidance from religion and started to evolve independently, they messed up. Some results have emerged and the worst is yet to come. The most damage is done to the family system which was the most important factor of living on the planet. Adam and Eve started a family instead of living on their own.
