CHILD ABUSERS – WOMEN’s CLOTH – AND US!
Before I start, I know no matter how much I try to cover each
aspect of this heinous crime, I won’t be able to, but here are some of the points
which I would like to share. And of course, there could be other reasons too
which I couldn’t think of because you and I look the world differently based on
our surroundings and experiences.
Every crime has history and every criminal has a background. The
way he is raised, the problems he faced, mental issues and etc. There is always
a root cause. You can punish the criminal but you can’t eliminate the crime if
you don’t focus on finding the cause and bringing the solution. But, let me be
VERY CLEAR, the crime we are about to discuss has NO JUSTIFICATION, there is no
justification for rape, be it a rape of an adult or a child. Rape is a force,
and there is nothing that can force you to act physically.
We often hear some people blaming women’s attire. I have written
a couple of articles on Hijab, I will suggest you to read them because I won’t
repeat them here. Clothes have nothing to do with rape, period. Hijab has its
own value and purpose but by no mean it is a shield to prevent force. I love
Ferrari but I can’t buy it, so when I pass by Ferrari showroom, it makes me
greedy and frustrated and I just want to have it no matter what, so does the
display of Ferrari in a showroom is enough justification for me to go rob that
car? (Now please, I am not comparing women with an OBJECT, it’s just a general
example). And besides, we are talking about child abusers, how could possibly 2
years old or 5 years old turns you on? So women’s clothing is out of question,
you can debate on its own consequences which I mentioned in my earlier articles
but FORCE is none of them. Do not mix Hijab with Rape, it’s OUT OF QUESTION.
Rape is a rape and there is NO JUSTIFICATION FOR IT. Neither in Quran or Hadith
is it mentioned to observe Hijab to prevent Rape. Read the Quran and understand
why Allah has commanded Hijab for both men and women.
Picture this, imagine the victim, he/she are crying, yelling,
shouting with pain, begging for life, and this rapist has no effect at all? So
a simple piece of cloth is enough to force him to rape and yet the shouting,
the pain of the victim is not enough for him to stop?
I fully support harsh punishment for such rapists. They should
be given an exemplary punishment.
Now let’s take a look inside these rapists, not to have sympathy
but to find the root cause and how, we as a society are also responsible.
Most of these child abusers are from poor areas, living in harsh
conditions. They have financial problems, family problems, health problems;
they lack even the basic needs. And then, like every other human being, they
have se*ual desires. Now, marriage is the right solution, but these people
can’t get married because they don’t have resources. Now put yourself in their
shoes, we all know how hard it is to get married on time in this day and age due
to the financial burdens. So keeping aside Halal and Haram, tell me what do we
do to fulfill our se*ual desires? Some are in a physical relationship, some
just go to prostitutes, and most of us watch p0rn. Now these predators, they
can’t have a relationship because no one wants to be in a relationship with
them. They can’t go to prostitutes because they don’t have money and they can’t
watch p0rn because they don’t have those resources (Smartphone, VPN and a
private bathroom). So now these predators are frustrated. But, how can someone
become such an animal that he abuses children and kills them? Well, here is
where we come.
Every time such news breaks, we get sentimental and yell, THESE
ARE ANIMALS, THESE ARE BEASTS, and THEY DON’T DESERVE TO LIVE. Well, true, I
agree but, the fact is, that we are the reason of them becoming unsympathetic
ruthless beasts. How? Ask yourself. How do you treat these people in their
normal days? How do you treat a poor kid on street? What is your behavior with
these poor people? How do you show your dominance over them again and again and
again. Have you ever considered them to be a part of your society? Have you
ever shown them sympathy? So how do you expect that the poor kid who is
humiliated all his life by you will become a noble person? You are the one who
continuously killed his sense of sympathy and you are the one who woke his
inner beast. If you had treated him as a human being, today he would have
behaved like a human being.
Children are easy targets. The predator knows he can handle a
child easily and no one will bat an eye and because the rule of law is so weak,
he never gets caught even after the act and gain more confidence after every
prey. I am pretty sure that the first time would have been so hard on him; he must
have been sweating, shivering, afraid of being caught. But he didn’t get caught
which gave him the strength so he went for the second time, this time it was
easier than the last time, still gets away and hence his confidence is boosted.
For what he has become and because of his frustration, he doesn’t even remember
or fear Allah.
So how do we cut the cord, how do we chop off the root cause?
The first step is to look at them and smile before they have become beast. Stop
neglecting them. Stop treating them like trash so they don’t eventually become
trash. Show them sympathy, be patient with them, try to help them financially
or at least morally.
Now someone will yell EDUCATION. Yes, education is important for
these people but not the modern world education which just emphasizes on a
piece of paper called degree which they can't afford. These people need
knowledge which could be gained easily without much money. They need religious
education too. They need to be reminded about Allah and how one day they are going
to die and will have to answer for their actions. But fear of Allah is hard to
develop in a day because one doesn’t see Allah, so here comes the government’s
responsibility to ensure rule of law, to be able to catch the culprits and give
them exemplary punishments.
Some will argue to have se* clubs openly so that such frustrated
people could go and have their desires get out. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
We should help them to get stable so that they can marry. We need to make them
part of the society. And we need to educate them that no matter how frustrated
you are, do not become an animal. They should have a clear red line in their
minds of dos and don’ts and not just by education but by force if necessary, so
that they should know that they can go make a hole in a wall but can’t become a
monster and take a life.
These predators do not just appear out of the thin air. They
live among us. They are silently begging for help and sympathy and we are
continuously ignoring them and turning them into beasts.
Now, there are some cases where the predator is actually not very
poor but a lower middle class person. And these people too don’t have the same
resources to fulfill their se*ual desires like I mentioned above. In fact,
these lower middle class people are heavily scrutinized not only by the family
members or the neighborhood but by the general public as well. Just think of
it, how comfortable is it for a poor looking person to buy a condom or go on a
date? Every eye will be like ARE BHAI SAHAB, YE KIS LINE MAI A GAYE AP as if se*
or love is just rich people’s leverage. And the other problem is their
families; the topic of se* is such a taboo in their families or neighborhood as
if it doesn’t exist. If they talk about marriage, they are yelled at because it
is such a financial burden. They are so afraid to be in a relationship or to go
to a prostitute because they fear people, they fear if someone saw, it would be
disastrous. They can’t watch p0rn because they don’t have enough privacy in
their home because they live in very small houses. They are so afraid and
frustrated that they forget what’s wrong and what’s right and religion is just
at the back of their head at this moment. So when they find an easy target,
they just unleash themselves.
Again, neither I have sympathy for such beasts nor am I a
spokesperson of unlawful se*. I just pointed out some of the root causes of
these heinous crimes and there are plenty of ways to tackle them in a proper
way without implying any unlawful measures. Even those who fulfill their
desires by lesser evil such as prostitution, haram relationship or p0rn, they
are culprits too and there is no justification for their acts either. We should
make marriage as easy as possible. We should lift off unnecessary financial
burden and highly materialistic expectations.
And before you come up with other scenarios telling me that
there are predators having great lives and just enjoy to abuse children or rape
women; then they don’t apply here at all. They should simply be shot, the end.
Now probably someone will point out Madrassas, sure, no justification, in fact,
those preacher or Imams should be punished even more heavily as they were
supposed to be role models and they had the knowledge of right and wrong too
and yet committed a heinous crime.
Se* education is important too but you don’t have to make it
public. The problem is, we neither want to talk about it in public nor in our
own houses. Just maintain balance and ethics and then teach people. You can
teach them in houses, Masjids or schools at a certain age. Islam doesn’t
forbids it, in fact even in Quran Allah mentions some of the ethics so why
can’t we raise the awareness. Again, you don’t have to be very open about it
that you forget people around you and have no respect of age or gender. Just do
it in a proper way on a proper time. It’s a basic human need.
Spread the word.
