Dear Women, I have a request.

First of all, I will start by apologizing in advance if I hurt your feelings or if I am not able to correctly express what I am trying to convey.

Hijab, Niqab, Burqa, these are your choices and by no mean you are a grave sinner if you don't apply. Don't take it as a fight just because you hear men commanding you all the times. You don't have to obey men, you just have to obey your Lord.

What mandatory is, decent clothing, clothes that cover up all your body and are not sexually provocative. And NO, I AM NOT VICTIM BLAMING, I am not defending predators. Of course, your clothes can't force someone to harm you physically, there is no justification of force.

The problem is that decent clothing is mandatory for both men and women and somehow unfortunately, it is heavily emphasized on women only, and not necessarily with bad intentions, it's just people didn't realize that keeping balance between the genders was so important but any how, we humans do mistakes and then only learn.

I myself can never go shirtless around women. My family always instructed me to have decent clothing and I AM A MAN. I was not allowed to wear shorts, or ripped jeans.

I am a 27 years old single male, I am at a age where my desires are at peak and I never want to indulge in any haram act. So when I go to places where women are wearing shorts, or revealing clothes, like workplace or public, it is so hard on me. I am not saying that their clothes force me to jump over them, but my hormones do get activated and I try my best to control them. But it is so hard sometimes but Alhamdulillah, I manage to look away as much as possible.

And I am sure that this is the case with women too. If you are also a young single female and you have men around you in attractive attires, you feel it too.

So forget what men are telling you, ignore it, firstly, it is Allah's command for both men and women, it's just an extra step for women. And secondly, consider it as a favor for believing and practicing men. No one is perfect, we all do mistakes and we all want to enjoy life, it's ok, you don't have to be a saint, just try to follow Islamic teachings as much as you can for two reason, to please Allah and as a help for fellow human beings.

And dear men, even if a woman is naked, it's still not an open invitation for harassment or eve teasing. Be a gentleman. It's not just a woman's duty to observe Parda, if it was just a woman's duty, Allah would never have commanded you to lower your gazes. It's a mutual job. Sometimes it could be a necessity for a women to not have a hijab or decent clothing, there could be any valid reason so that doesn't mean you can just unleash yourself.

Men do your job, and Women do your job and not because of cat-fighting with each other, but because Allah has commanded and there is always a wisdom in Allah's commands.

I hope I managed to convey my message. And apologies if you get hurt.
If you liked it and agree to it, help spreading the word. Peace out.
